Customizing your Visualizations

NodeBox provides a wide range of nodes to create visualizations. However, sometimes you might want to customize your visualizations further. This guide will walk you through some of the ways you can enhance your visualizations.

Visualizations are NodeBox shapes

The output of a visualization is a "plot spec", a specification of the plot. The NodeBox viewer automatically renders this as a plot.

However, you can also do this manually. By using the Render Plot node, you can render a plot spec as a shape. This allows you to use the plot as any other graphic object: apply transformations, change colors, or combine it with other shapes.
